Jerry Brassfield – Founder, Chairman
As a young boy, Jerry suffered from severe asthma and allergies. Determined to find relief for her sick son, Jerry's mother began adding quality nutritional products to his daily diet. Supplements in the 1940’s were not as palatable as they are today, so Jerry was forced to take giant, heaping tablespoons of foul tasting nutrition like cod liver oil. It was then that he discovered the profound impact that quality supplements could play in helping restore good health.Through giving his body the nutrition it needed, allergies and asthma became more of an occasional nuisance triggered by farm animals rather than a constant battle for life. This life changing, probably even life saving experience gave Jerry an unwavering belief in the power of nutritional supplementation. Because of his passion for helping others, Jerry began sharing his powerful testimony with those around him and realized that most people needed a solution to the problems created by nutritional deficiencies.
In his teens, Jerry had a few unsatisfying jobs like selling furniture and tires, yet the ‘Protestant Work Ethic’ in which he was raised to believe, where more hard work equals more profit, was nonexistent in any job he could find.
But at the age of 19, Jerry discovered Direct Sales through a company selling supplements perfectly aligning with his two passions: business & health. He finally found a business where hard work means more income. He went on to start his own company, also acquiring others like the NeoLife brand, forming what we know today as NeoLife International.
Jerry currently serves as NeoLife’s Executive Chairman of the Board and plays an active role in major capital allocation decisions, speaking engagements, and mentoring the next generation of company staff and Distributor leaders.
Jerry has a track record of success as an entrepreneur in the automobile, wine, and restaurant industries. He also serves on the boards of Shakey’s USA, Auto Focus Inc, and Brassfield Estate Winery.
Jerry lives the #NeoLifestyle by being healthy and active. He is in his seventies and can still to this day bust out over 50 pushups in under a minute!
Kendra Brassfield – Chief Executive Officer
Kendra joined NeoLife in 2011 as Market Research Strategist where she focused on understanding the industry and competitors. During this time she also built a NeoLife Distributor business, achieving Sapphire Director in just 9 months while simultaneously fulfilling her role as a full-time employee and company speaker. In 2013, Kendra earned the title of number one World Team Member in North America. This foundation of industry understanding and Distributor know-how gave her the insight to bring forward the recommendation to rebrand the company from GNLD to NeoLife.Since 2012, Kendra has been responsible for leading the company’s international marketing and brand image, overseeing a highly capable creative team. As the Chief Marketing Officer of NeoLife, Kendra has been successfully executing her vision to re-position the company for another 60+ years of success, creating a brand culture that evokes a strong sense of pride among customers and Distributors around the world.
In 2016, Kendra became the Chief Executive Officer of NeoLife. She has dedicated her life to being a good steward of the company, leading with a deep sense of responsibility and thankfulness for the opportunity to serve such a unique organization and family.
Kendra has served on the Board of Directors since December 2015. She has a B.S.E. in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California. Kendra is a Milken Global Institute Associate.
Kendra enjoys living the #NeoLifestyle through her love of the outdoors, often going for early morning surf sessions. She never hits the water without first having a NeoLifeBar. She is also an avid runner and enjoys participating in local half marathons. Kendra is a Certified Personal Trainer and uses that expertise as a resource for the NeoLife family, teaching simple and practical healthy disciplines.
Simon Whetzel – Chief Operating Officer
Simon began his first career with the NeoLife Family at age 15. There was an opening for a summer job at High Serenity Ranch where NeoLife held leadership schools back in the 1980s. Thinking he was going to spend the summer riding horses and working cattle he was surprised to learn that all those jobs were taken but janitors, dishwashers, and weed pullers were in high demand. So for five summers Simon supported the NeoLife family of distributors as he worked his way through the University of Southern California earning a B.S. in Finance.Simon has a diverse career background, having performed various management and accounting functions in the real estate and semiconductor industries. In 1996, he began his second career with NeoLife as Manager of Operations for North America. After three years of traveling between Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South Korea he returned to the home office and became the Corporate Controller for NeoLife (formerly GNLD) in North America. In 2003 High Serenity Ranch had another job opening only the ranch had been transformed into the beautiful Brassfield Estate Winery. They still didn’t need cowboys but they were desperate for accountants so Simon began a tangential career at the winery to eventually become its General Manager. In 2015, Simon rejoined the NeoLife family as Vice President of Operations for North America.
Simon currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for NeoLife and is committed to staying true to the values and good business practices that have served as a foundation for success for nearly 60 years.
Simon is an avid outdoorsmen and aspiring bicyclist. He enjoys living the #NeoLifestyle by taking an alternate route to work… cycling 20+ miles each way, two days a week! His fuel of choice is NeoLifeShake.
George Casale, Executive Vice President Sales, International
George Casale attended St. John's University in New York on a full scholarship for track and field, where he competed both nationally and internationally. He graduated with a B.A. in Education and went on to become a Social Studies teacher and track and field coach for High School. George joined GNLD as a Distributor in 1971, where he achieved notable success throughout the U.S. and Italy. He later became President of the company in Sweden, which he expanded to Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Estonia. As Executive Vice President of Sales, George works with sales leaders and Distributors around the world to ensure our vision and strategy are carried out in the field. George's background as a Distributor has given him the ability to keep in touch with Distributor needs and help them to build successful businesses.
